During setup and at any later time, users select all their favorite themes from a list displayed on ArtDesk software.
The list is downloaded from our server every time the software needs to use it. This permit us to update it with new categories at any time.
Each time the software needs to update the picture according to the user's pre-selected schedule. It randomly selects a theme from the user's prferred list and downloads the next picture after the last displayed. This selection method gives a chance to all members to expose their artwork.
Once all pictures on a category are displayed, that category list resets and the program starts downloading from the first one.
The pictures used as desktop wallpapers are submitted by our members and you are a step away of becoming one.
There is no charge for membership and no upfront costs for the service of showing your artwork.

ArtDesk also takes charge of the purchase process.
We deal with the customer to make sure their payment is successful before notifying the author about the sale.
If purchaser don't receive the product, they deal with us. Our members are never contacted by the buyer. We mediate all claims. This means that our members never have to deal with angry customers or people with an attitude.
This service also includes the acceptance of their payment which we do trough PayPal. Users in time can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards; echecks and other form of payment are also accepted in some circumstances.
All these services have a cost. For credit card acceptance the cost is 3% + $0.30 which is an average of what the processors charge us for national and international payments.
ArtDesk fee is $1.00 per sale regardless of the price tag of the product (*).
